Since last month I have been observing that Reyansh has been acting a little clingy. If I am busy with something he either throws a toy or a book on me or starts crying asking me to hold him. I wondered what could be the reason!

I have been taking care of Reyansh right from day one and I am all the time with him. Then what makes him feel insecure? And I got my answer...

'Being there for baby' and ' Spending time with baby' are two different things. As he is growing, his needs are changing. He not only needs a MOTHER to take care of him, but wants a COMPANION to play, to express, to talk with!

So I have made sure to spend TWO hours of QUALITY time with him daily, spread over the day at a stretch of thirty minutes each. We play, recite poems, dance, read, do activities and what not!

✅ It helps in building a stronger bond and a positive relationship with your baby.

✅ Growing babies are fast learners. When you speak to them constantly, they try to pick up the words, understand the language and develop better communication skills.

✅ Baby doesn't feel lonely and becomes much better at expressing things. Such babies are emotionally stronger.

✅ Doing various activities together, helps not only with the brain development but also in physical and emotional development of the baby.

✅ By spending time with your baby, you will learn to read your baby's body language.

✅Baby feels loved and secured and you will raise a happy and a confident child.

Hope you find these tips useful! Stay hydrated and take care of yourself and your baby and beat the heat!

It's even better when it's two. My husband makes sure to spend an hour with Reyansh after coming from office. They read books, recite poems or play and that has helped them develop a strong positive bond with each other. If Mumma can't make it on someday, Papa is always there and vice versa.

Try this and the glee that you will see in your baby's eyes will just melt your heart! Let's raise happy babies by spending a little quality time with them. That's all they want!
