Back in 2016, I was invited to a close friend’s daughter’s namkaran ceremony. I wanted to gift something meaningful — not just another baby set.

While browsing online, I discovered a product I had never seen before — a diaper bag. It was stylish, smart, and incredibly functional. But there was a catch: it wasn’t available in India.

I took the leap and ordered one from abroad. And when I gifted it… the reaction said it all. That moment planted the seed for what would become Motherly.

Encouraged by the excitement that one diaper bag generated, I sourced a small batch and listed them on Amazon India. The response? They sold out instantly.

One batch became two. Then five. Soon, we were fulfilling orders across the country for parents who had been looking for the same kind of quality and convenience.

Then came the pandemic. Supply chains collapsed. Imports stalled. But instead of waiting, we started building.

We set up our own manufacturing unit in Noida, Sector 63 — and Motherly was born. Built by necessity, driven by purpose.
